Blair is not your typical yoga instructor. She came to yoga many years ago when pregnant with her first child and looking for a way to stay in shape. What she found was something completely different. While Blair’s professional path has been a windy road filled unexpected twists and turns, yoga has always been a constant and influential part of her life.
All aspects of Blair’s life experience have collided together with yoga as the common thread. Her background begins with being a recreation therapist focused on animal assisted and outdoor adventure experiences. As a therapeutic riding instructor she discovered how powerful yoga can be when combining asana practice on horseback. Blair has since published books and articles related to yoga on horseback and has recently started her PhD in ecopsychology.
In addition to teaching at Peace through Yoga, Blair offers private coaching and Equiyo sessions and workshops at a local barn in Plainfield. She is also a certified wellness coach and Reiki Master to round out the domains of healing physically, emotionally and energetically.
