Never done yoga? You are not alone. This workshop is a four-week program for those who are new to yoga. A solid yoga foundation encourages balance, strength and flexibility for optimal health and wellness. Essential Yoga for Beginners will introduce you to fundamental yoga poses (asanas) and will address proper body alignment, various forms of breath-work (pranayma) and the benefits of using props that are common in yoga practices.
At the end of 4 weeks, you will have established a solid foundation to begin a regular yoga practice in any of our All Levels, Level I and Gentle/Restorative classes.
